The ability to comprehend and connect (reading, listening, viewing), and to create and communicate (writing, speaking, representing), will always be important to success. The English Language Arts program at ND is designed not only to help students become proficient in these fundamental literacies, but also to cultivate a lifelong appreciation for the power of language and the literary imagination.
