The Visual Art Department at Notre Dame Regional Secondary provides an outlet for students to experiment and express artistic ideas and emotions in a variety of media. As a diverse learning opportunity for all students, the Visual Art Department thrives in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for students of all abilities.

In Grade 8-10 students learn the basic skills and techniques to create a variety of art pieces. Students are then able to take those skills and apply them at a more advanced level in Grade 11, creating a self-directed portfolio in Grade 12.

Our facility provides students with a creative space that enables students to explore several visual expression areas, including but not limited to painting, printmaking, ceramics, and a dark room for Photography.
