Rain or shine, these girls come out to play. Still undefeated, they have earned themselves a place in the finals for Tuesday.
These girls gave it their best in the pouring rain, and came away with a win of 2-0.
Some highlights of the game were Chiara Holzer who stepped it up this week and had a great performance in the last two games, earning the team a goal yesterday in the semi-finals.
Mackenzie Milz, who has been a shining star the entire season, scored the second goal. Hannah Enns was amazing on defense with her signature sweep to clear the ball. Kaitlyn Roed, Alivia Sabellico, and Sam Garcea, who manage to be everywhere on the field (these girls can run!), play all positions when the situation arises. Finally, Isabel Dente our goalie had some amazing saves yesterday which is even more impressive when she is weighed down with all her gear.
In general, this is a team that works together and steps up for each other.
The Field Hockey team will be playing in the finals on Wright Field (UBC), Tuesday, at 3:45pm.
