The 2022 Varsity football season at Notre Dame came to an end on Friday afternoon as they were eliminated from the AAA playoffs by a tough Carson Graham team with a score of 32-21 in a quarter-final match-up.
The Jugglers started quickly as they stopped Carson's first possession and took over on their own 5-yard line. On the first snap of the game for Notre Dame, running back Vito DeCotiis took the ball off left tackle and scampered 95 yards for the touchdown. He then kicked the extra point, and the Jugglers took the early lead, 7-0.

Unfortunately, Carson Graham was difficult to stop after that, and the Jugglers were inconsistent offensively. The Eagles reeled off four unanswered touchdowns and took a 26-7 lead at the half.

Notre Dame was determined to make a game of it, however, and started the second half with a touchdown drive capped by a 15-yard pass from QB Max Brougham to wide receiver Kyle Torresan. Brougham hit DeCotiis on the two-point conversion, and the score was narrowed to 26-15.

The Jugglers had opportunities to close the gap further, but were stopped by a Carson goalline stand on one possession and a brilliant touchdown on a punt return by Kyle Torresan was called back on a penalty.
The Eagles added a late touchdown pass to make it 32-15. Brougham then hit receiver Eathen Knutson on a 20-yard scoring pass to close the gap to 32-21.

The program would like to thank the many people who assisted with all of the details involved with the team's operation this season.
Best wishes to our Grade 12 players who have finished their high school careers, but who have many great adventures to look forward to.
The team's wrap up banquet is slated for Sunday evening, December 11th, in the school's Multi-Purpose Room, beginning at 6pm.
